An integrated model: testing laboratory & accredited certification
The notified body examines the technical design of the equipment, together with the risk analysis carried out by the manufacturer. After examining the evidence of conformity submitted to it, it certifies that the equipment meets the essential requirements of the Directive.
- The manufacturer thus benefits from validated marketing of its equipment or product range.
- The manufacturer is guaranteed regulatory monitoring of its product by the Notified Body throughout the validity of its certificate.
- The manufacturer gains access to certain markets thanks to the recognition of this certificate for export.
