Our CSR approach is based on concrete commitments in terms of ethics, the environment, working conditions and relations with all our stakeholders.
An ethic embraced by all
The Emitech Group is guided by an Ethics Charter that formalises our values – passion, transparency, professionalism, living together – and our principles of integrity, respect and responsibility.
Signed by the entire Management Committee, it commits every employee, regardless of their job or position in the hierarchy, to behave impeccably in the conduct of their activities.
This charter governs our practices in relation to the prevention of conflicts of interest, the protection of assets and the confidentiality of information. It also guarantees compliance with laws, fundamental human rights and occupational health and safety rules, as well as a loyal and transparent relationship with our customers, suppliers and partners.
A responsible employer
We strive to provide a respectful working environment that promotes professional development and well-being on a daily basis. This translates into initiatives that support training, skills development and creativity, as well as respect for privacy and management that listens to employees.
Non-discrimination, the prevention of all forms of harassment and the promotion of equal treatment are principles that are firmly rooted in our practices. We make health and safety at work a priority by implementing clear rules, guidelines adapted to our testing environments and ongoing awareness-raising initiatives.
Controlling our environmental footprint
Our testing activities are part of a continuous improvement process aimed at reducing our environmental footprint, both at our sites and when travelling. We encourage carpooling, favour high-speed rail for business travel and are shifting our vehicle policy towards hybrid and electric vehicles.
In our laboratories, we invest in modern, energy-efficient equipment that reduces electricity consumption, associated emissions and testing times. We limit the transport of equipment between sites by optimising the location of our testing facilities, and we are rolling out more efficient heating solutions, such as heat pumps, during refurbishment work.
We also reduce our consumption of resources by favouring LED lighting, improving building insulation, limiting the use of paper and promoting the use of reusable containers on a daily basis. Our responsible purchasing policy favours local suppliers, incorporates social and environmental criteria, and is in line with environmental certification requirements, particularly through sites already committed to ISO 14001-type initiatives.

Our clients' trust is based on the quality of our testing, but also on our integrity and impartiality. We are committed to providing verified and accurate information, respecting the confidentiality of the data entrusted to us, and maintaining long-term relationships based on loyalty, professionalism, and respect for our commitments.
Our employees are encouraged to exercise their right to raise concerns in the event of any doubt about behaviour that does not comply with our ethical charter, within a secure framework that guarantees confidentiality and freedom from reprisals.
Our CSR approach also integrates social, environmental and economic issues into our decisions, in order to create long-term value for our employees, customers, suppliers and the communities in which we operate.
