GNSS scenario simulation
Validate your equipment with realistic, reproducible signals
Why simulate GNSS scenarios?
On-board geolocation algorithms and systems must be tested under conditions that are close to real-world scenarios, yet controlled and reproducible. Simulating GNSS scenarios makes it possible to:
- Inject RF signals or GNSS measurements representative of local environments (dense urban areas, tunnels, railways, etc.).
- Evaluate positioning performance (PVT: Position, Velocity, Time) in critical contexts.
- Compare different configurations of firmware versions, receivers or GNSS algorithms.
- Reproduce specific use cases in the laboratory, without the uncertainties of a field campaign.
Our GNSS simulation services
We offer our expertise in designing and executing advanced GNSS test scenarios:
- Definition of representative trajectories and environments: urban, railway, agricultural, port areas, etc.
- Generation of RF signals or GNSS measurements (RINEX Observables, RTCM) from real or synthetic signals.
- Simulation of GNSS measurement degradation to validate the behaviour of on-board systems.
- Creation of bespoke scenario libraries, which are replayable and adaptable to the client’s test protocols.
- Integrated statistical analysis: accuracy, integrity, availability, DOP, loss of fix, satellite outages, etc.
- Performance comparison between receivers, configurations or firmware.
