Why carry out vibration tests?
The different types of vibration test
- Sinusoidal vibrations: Simulation of vibrations such as those emitted by rotating machinery (thermal and electric combustion engines, etc.).
- Random vibrations: Reproduction of vibrations encountered in moving vehicles (automotive, aviation, marine).
- Sine/noise, noise/noise tests: Simulation of the effects of superimposing different vibration sources (helicopters, tanks, etc.).
- Endurance tests: Resonance tracking tests to measure the lifetime of components subjected to intense vibrations.
- Resonance frequency characterization: Identification of critical points and generally mechanical vulnerabilities.

Electrodynamic exciters
- Force up to 120 kN in sine and random, 305 kN in shock.
- Frequency: 5 to 6,000 Hz.
- Acceleration: up to 150 gn.
- Payload: up to 1,800 kg, or more depending on configuration.

Electrohydraulic exciters
- Force up to 45 kN.
- Frequency: 0.1 to 250 Hz.
- Large displacement of up to 400mm for low-frequency vibration testing (maritime, rail, aeronautical windmilling).

Multi-axis vibrations
- Control of up to 3 axes simultaneously (MIMO: Mulitple Input Multiple Output).
- Faithful reproduction of the complex vibration conditions encountered in the field.
Monitoring and technical support

- Temperature, voltage, current and rotation speed sensors
- Monitoring of micro-interruptions and variations in performance
- Integration of climatic and hydraulic constraints for ever more realistic simulation
