EMC certification for vehicles and electronic equipment
ECE R10 regulations
Ensure that your vehicles and equipment comply with the ECE R10 standard
The ECE R10 standard (or UN R10 regulation) is a reference regulation for the approval of vehicles and their electronic equipment with regard to electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). It is essential for obtaining the E mark and guaranteeing marketing in more than 50 countries, including those of the European Union.
The Emitech Group, recognised as a technical service by the CNRV, will support you throughout the entire process: from regulatory analysis to carrying out tests, right through to obtaining the approval certificate.
Why use Emitech for UN-ECE R10 certification?
Assured regulatory compliance
We will guide you in interpreting and applying the requirements of the standard:
- For vehicles in categories L, M, N, O, T, R, S,
- For Electrical and Electronic Subassemblies (ESA) integrated or connected to the vehicle.
Tests carried out in our ISO 17025-accredited laboratories
- Radiated and conducted electromagnetic emissions (CISPR 12, CISPR 25...)
- Electromagnetic immunity (ISO 11451-2, ISO 7637-2, IEC 61000-4, -4-5...)
- Specific tests in recharging mode for electric vehicles
Test centre equipped with a very large Faraday cage (27 x 18 x 10.5 m)
- Tests on vehicles in motion up to 120 km/h on chassis dynamometer
- Heavy vehicles up to 40 tonnes can be accommodated
- Multi-engine testing: thermal, electric, hybrid, hydrogen, etc.
Complete management of the homologation file
- Drafting of the technical and administrative file
- Submission to the competent authority (e.g. CNRV for France)
- Obtain UN-ECE R10 certificate and E marking
